It will be 28 years on this October 14th that our beloved Sherway Rebel Rambler was born coinciding with my own birthday!

We are quite amazed at the number of communications we have received from Griffon-ites around the world who either knew of him or indeed own his descendents. Rambler (or "Soddog" as he was affectionately known !) was well known within the British show ring from an early age, gaining his Junior Warrant; he also won four Championship Show 1st's, sixteen Championship Show 2nd's, plus a Best Puppy in Show and numerous B.O.B.'s at Open Shows.

Those who remember him will recall his remarkable colouring - the jet black coat with the vibrant strong tan markings - a true black & tan.

Our Mahnyar Rebel Dancer (Taz) - a direct descendent of Rebel Rambler - exhibits SO many of the little traits and quirks associated solely with Rambler. It's quite uncanny !

Rambler died on Maundy Thursday 1994, naturally and peacefully in my arms - and a part of our hearts went with him.
